Dear Patients
We’d like to tell you about the changes within our team that are taking place December 2024 through to New Year 2025.
Retirement News:
We are saying a fond farewell to members of our team who have decided to retire from their roles.
Janet retires from her Office Support Clerk role on 17th December 2024 after 14 years’ service.
Sister Fran will completely retire on 17 December 2024. Fran initially retired from her Nurse Practitioner role in 2019. Fran returned to support our Women’s Health provision on a regular basis.
Sister Bev will be retiring 23 December 2024 after 35 years’ service to the Practice covering both clinical and managerial roles. Her clinical vision for the Practice has helped to shape strategy over the last 15 years. Alongside Fran she has provided a comprehensive Women’s Health service to our patients. We will be reviewing what we can offer going forward.
All 3 team members will be greatly missed.
Two of our Back Office team, Michelle and Dottie, have taken the decision to leave their roles in December. We will be reviewing recruitment in the New Year, taking into account recent government budget decisions which are affecting all General Practices.
Dr Nadeem and Dr Byrne are settling in well since they joined us in August. Dr Byrne is covering Dr Milian’s maternity leave.
We will be recruiting for a temporary GP to help us cover winter pressures through January to March. All Practices have been given a small amount of funding within our Additional Roles Budgets.
